Ethiopia is more than 40 times larger than the Netherlands. It has an age-old traditions. Ethiopia has a very special food culture. Back in history - the "Iliad" of Homer, for example, describes how all the Greek gods of Mount Olympus descended to sit at a banquet of the noble Ethiopians. Eating is a social activity in Ethiopia, everyone eats injera with his/her right hand. Injera is a fermented pancake consists of 30% from a gluten-free cereal teff, and is an Ethiopian specialty.
